Take a ‘naked eye’ tour of the night sky, and see astronomical objects through large telescopes. The moon will be at first quarter, and almost overhead at 7pm. Jupiter and Saturn will be high up and an amazing sight through the telescopes. Scorpius and Sagittarius will be high overhead, the brightest stars of these constellations will be easy to see. If cloudy, Dean will give an illustrated talk in the Town Hall. You will have the opportunity to look at telescopes and large binoculars, as well as having your questions answered.
