The State Liberals today called for the damaged South Road Tram Overpass and subsequent disruptive South Road closure to be examined by Parliament’s Public Works Committee.
The Weatherill Government’s repeated assertion there are no problems with South Australia’s ageing water mains system has been undermined by yet another burst pipe leading to traffic restrictions on Hampstead Road.
South Australian residents endured almost 4,000 burst water mains last year, according to Freedom of Information documents.
